I read at bargainpda.com that it will be available July 27th and pricing will begin at $499. I don't know how acurate that is but they had posted a pre-review of that model that basically gave the price and date available.

are u sure its only US$499?..i think the price is around US$649 if i'm not wrong..thanks.

It will probably be even cheaper if you buy through a cell phone provider.

Thats is probably the cell phone provider cost. If you look at most other PDA phones they are almost always released by the Cell phone company not by the brand of the device(In this case HP) I not sure but I don't think u will be able to get this ipaq seperate from cell service without a great increase in the price.

There will probably be about $100 - $150 rebate at first, but you can order most phones from their manufacturers or from stores without a contract. That way they are unlocked and can be put on different carriers in different countries. Don't forget, it is still a PDA, but has phone functionality.
