So you've seen the pictures....
So you've seen the pictures, read the reviews - What do you think about this machine?

I wish I was not faithful to Cingular, I would likely buy one on sale.

I prefer the look of the MPX and MDAIII over the HP, HP will probably have a better overall package in terms of usability.

I wouldnt buy it.. I agree about mpx being better. I like smartphones more than the pocketpc/phone combo.

Unfortunately I am a HP lifer and will be swapping my 5550 for the 6315, even though the 4700 seems very tempting.

The MPx is also a Phone Edition and not a Smartphone.

I am tempted by the 6315, but think the specs of my current MDA II are better. Especially given the fact that the 6300 doesn't have Second Edition loaded,

I've looked at the MDA II, it is nice but I need a PDA first, phone second. Plus MDA II doesn't have quad band does it?

I will be purchasing the 6315. I currently use a Sony Ericsson T610 phone and a 4155 ipaq. Will keep the 4155 but am looking forward to a combo of the two. I already with Tmobile so makes it easier.

While I like the idea of having everything (PDA & phone) in one device. The device would have to be small enough that I can keep it in my pocket without being uncomfortable. I currently use a sony ericsson T610 & 4155. Though I am very happy with carrying a very small phone & PDA, so if I don't need the functionality of a PDA it gets left at home. But I will have to wait & see when I find one in the store. I won't make a decision until I've actually gotten to play with a 63xx in person. It is a good idea to have everything in one device, I'm glad HP came out with the device. I still am very excited about it.

Jason

That is the intent of Phone Edition devices like the MDA/XDA II. They are Pocket PCs first with the added ability of a phone. I am sold on convergent devices and will check out the 6315 when they are available to see if it could replace my MDA II, but I may have to wait for the next update to the 6315.

Slightly...

Whilst you folks might be getting excited regarding the h6300, look what Ericsson were going to bring out in the year 2000... but stopped due to to the merger with Sony phones...

Yikes... I bet they're kicking themselves now!
