HP h6315, using PDA-mode with phone off??

Does anyone know if it will be possible with the new HP Ipaq h6315 to shut the phone off, but still working with the PDA??

This will be important for me when flying (and when cells are to be shut off during all flight, but you are allowed to work with you laptop... and PDA).

yes that is an option. you can turn the phone off.

This is very strange... I don't want to sound corky but it is kind of strange to have the same desktop with the same applications running in the background.

As an airline pilot I tell the Flight Attendants to look for blinking LED's on phones or PDA's. That is always a sign that a radio transmitter is on or that the unit is powered up.
