Does this thing have a WiFi MAC address?
I'm trying to hook my iPaq up to my home wireless network where I use MAC address filtering as a security layer.

When I look for the MAC address of my iPaq it shows "MAC Address: n/a" in the wireless section but there is a Bluetooth MAC address. Will this work? Is the address somewhere else?

Any ideas welcomed.

Thanks

Graham

You should be able to see the macaddress here:
start -> settings -> system -> asset viewer -> wireless lan . Itīs at the bottom.

Another way to find it. If you have a linksys router (and propably others as well) you can temporarily disable the mac filter, connect to the lan with your ipaq and then you can see the mac address. Itīs in:
Wireless -> Wireless Network Access -> Wireless mac client list . In here will be displayed the mac address of all connected computers.

The first one will not work because it just says N/A for the MAC address in the asset viewer (although there is a MAC address under the Bluetooth tab).

The second is a great idea. I will do that.
