My friend has the i-Mate version of the XDA II. It blows the 6315 out of the water. It doesn't have wi-fi, but you can always add a wi-fi card. It is also more expensive than the 6315. But I would just save up for it.

i wonder how much faster that processor drains the battery or if it is able to load the gprs internet sites faster. i have thought of possibly getting one and putting the ipaq up for sale.

I'll ask my friend how long his battery lasts. I'll let you know.

As mentioned the XDA II will blow the h6315 away in terms of speed. But then again there is trade-offs. The h6315 probably gets better battery life then the XDA II.

My friend says that with his bluetooth on he can use GPS continuously for 4 to 5 hours. When he uses his phone, his bluetooth headset dies before the PDA does. Plus he just keeps an extra battery on him all the time.

It is definitely in english, but you are right, for that price, it should have wi-fi. In that case, I would wait for the XDA IIs, which will have built-in wi-fi.

I have a MDA II (same as the XDA II, but just from T-Mobile Germany) and it has replaced my multiple devices and has been my prime mobile device for the last few months. I considered a 6315, but the 128MB of RAM and 32MB of usable ROM are liberating on the MDA II and I never have to worry about watching my memory usage. I am a power user and still get over a full days use with the MDA II. Plus, I have an extra battery and will be getting a new Mugen Power one that was just released yesterday.

I am very interested in the MDA III, which has everything in the MDA II plus a slide out thumb keyboard that is backlit, integrated WiFi, and WM2003 Second Edition. The MDA III (XDA IIs) is a seriously rocking device and the only thing it is lacking to make it absolutely perfect is a VGA display.

I think if these XDA II and IIs devices were released in the U.S. then people would go crazy over them since there specs and performance generally blow the 6315s doors off.
