6315 IM problem
Greetings from a new member. I got my T-Mobile 6315 on August 26, first day they were available. It has the Hot-Spot and regular WIFI capability. Left the next day for the UK where I used the little rig for 5 days...WOW, what a difference over there..lots of different hot spots (not just T-Mobile) and a good number of them open. My emails just dropped right in as I went thru the day. It was great sitting in a Starbucks sipping my caramel macchiato tapping messages to friends. Overall I am happy with the unit though a lot to learn.

A problem I have had is that when I try to IM someone ( I use AOL for mail and IM), I always get a message that "--- is not signed on"...even though they are. I have done this several times with my son or wife signed on right next to me. I HAVE been able to receive IMs from them but when responding it says not signed on, nor do they show up as signed on at the "Buddy" list. May just be a setting I haven't made or something but haven't found it...any thoughts??

Thanks,

Chris
