Keypad losing connection
I tried a few of the beta 6315's and their keypad would lose connecton at times, I would be just typing away and would notice it stoped half a sentance ago. Or it would keep typing the same letter over and over locked till it was repositioned.

Is this still a problem with the retail ones? Anyone have any complaints about their detachable keypad? If so what seems to work for you holding it in? Thanks for the help!

I have to say i haven't had any problems with the detachable keyboard so far. So hopefully they have sorted the problem out now with the retail version. it's a great little add on to make txt and IM much easier, so thumbs up from me!!!

I was not having a proble untill after I read your thread. It seems that after I wake up the pda, the keyboard doesn't work anymore. Even if I detach it and reattach it, still no go. It won't even beep when I attach it again. I Have to do a soft reset in order to get it to work I average about 3 resets a day.

On a different note, I lost the included stylus. I had to search for a lot of different items small enough to reset the unit. I ended up buying a pack of styluses for another Ipaq model. Too fat though to fit into the slot. Ended up shaving and yes sanding down the diameter in order to fit in the slot. Sorry to get off topic, my keyboard still has problems.

Sorry to hear about your problems, I have to reset mine occasionally too but not that much, but I dont use the keyboard that much.

Well it seems that the retail version is much better, at least new it is. It feels much more solid when attached, yet I do have an occasional problem with it not registering what button I press, but that's pretty rare.

So for the retail version I have to say
