I believe the program is actually stored in the Windows/StartMenu/Startup folder (as opposed to a link to it as most programs put). Be sure to back it up in case you change your mind.

thanks Harley.

I noticed some other stuff in the StartUp folder (BTTrayCE, DBMirror, iPAQKBDaemon, iPAQWirelessAuto, MailTrigger,RegNotify.exe), what are they?

BTTrayCE - if you remove, bluetooth will not work
DBMirror - used by the built-in backup program if you have selected PIM mirroring. It makes a backup of your contacts, etc after each change.
iPAQKBDaemon - used for the included keyboard
iPAQWirelessAuto - this places the iPAQ wireless icon in the bottom right of the screen. You can also run this app from the menus.
MailTrigger - Has to do with T-Mobile Myemail. I believe this is the program that handles the text messages when you have a new email. For example, I get an text message when I get a new email, but other than that nothing. The 6315 however, actually uses this text messages to trigger the ipaq to fetch your mail.
RegNotify - I don't remember, I used to have them all written down, but I don't have a 6315 any longer. This isn't on my 4705 so it isn't on my list
