Bluetooth Internet Connection Sharing h6315 to 2215
Hi,

I have an H6315 that I connect to the internet via an 802.11b access point, or ATT GPRS.

I would like to share this connection over bluetooth to a 2215.

Is it possible?

Can someone provide a "for dummies" tutorial on it?

Thanks!

Hi,

I have tried something similar to that. I used a laptop instead of a second PPC. Check this thread out.

I think the best way to go is to try creating a dial-up connection to h6315 from 2215.

1) Pair devices
2) From "Bluetooth Manager" choose "Explore a Bluetooth Device" or "Connect to a network" to create dial-up connection.
3) Number to call should be *99# without username and password.

Since I dont have the same devices I dont know if this would work or not. I managed to establish this dial-up connection but network stalls in 5 minutes. I couldnt solve this issue yet.

One think i know is the network connection of a Windows CE 2003 device whether it is wifi or GPRS, can not be shared as in Windows XP.

Hope this helps...

Goodluck,

I really doubt that it would work since PPCs don't have integrated routing capabilities.

Don't people do this over regular bluetooth cell phones and other Bluetooth enabled devices

I thought it was built-into the Bluetooth apps.
