GPRS on T-MOBILE setting have changed?
Hello everybody,
I have a question about GPRS and t-mobie!

I used to have the plane that has unlimited data and so on,
But changed it because technical problems.
Whenever GPRS was in use all call will have a busy signal or go to voicemail. I know there is no solution to that, because of hardware limitations, you can transmit only trough GPRS or GSM one at the time.

Now I noticed the t-mobile has changed the setting to GPRS, Does anyone know what they are?

In the mean time a have subscribed to 300 SMS and AIM messengers for 2.99! The only problem only the SMS works, on the 63XX if you don’t have the unlimited data for the ipaq for $19.99 . I can’t even use the t-zome!.....

I guess they haven’t found a way to limit the connection!

Does anyone know a workaround so that I can use the 300 AIM’s…

Thank you

I called tmobile today, and they told me that this handheld device was not made for tzones, so if you were able to use tzones before it was by mistake. the only service they provide is aim/sms and unlimited internet. Sucks....is there a work around????

Actually what happened was t-mobile blocked port 80 on the t-zones data plans. So this restricts access to all regular websites. The mobile "wap" sites connect on port 9201 or 8080 I believe. This change was made in december. So with the 63xx I believe the only option is for the regular data plan. I know alot of people were/are upset about this change.

T-Mobile has blocked the use of Mobile IE for T-zones, but I can use the Klondike browser to access Tzones:

{option settings}

Home page : Http://wap.myvoicestream.com/
Connection Type: HTTP connection through a proxy server
Domain: 216.155.165.50 Port:8080
