Anybody unhappy with the 6315?
I bought the 6315 about 3 months ago. For the most part I am happy with it.

I really hate the size and how uncomfortable it is to use as a phone without bluetooth, etc. It also sucks trying to carry around if you dont have big pockets. I cant seem to bring myself to hang it off the belt.

Just wondering if anyone else has the same issues?

Have you read any of the posts in this forum

You will find that a number of people are NOT happy with the device (especially the lack of proper support in the US).

Um...Honestly...No. Its just old habit to ask before thinking....Every time I start reading I get the 27 newest programs loaded on it and wonder why I have to do a hard reset...

HAHAHA...

Seriously, it IS akward in the pocket, but worth it. I would never use a beltclip.

I carried mine in the Pdair aluminum case, but modified the belt clip so it didn't stick out so far. I was afraid to carry it around without a case, and the case made it WAY to big to fit in a pocket.

The thing seems tough to me. I keep it in my front pocket with no case.

I am getting mine replaced
I have a T-Mobile 6315. About 3 weeks ago it started locking up, at least twice a day. Soft reset would fix it but a real pain. I called t-mobile to see about patches or updates. They volunteered to replace it. Makes my think there are known problems.
I Just ordered a leather case w/belt clip. I need to get it out of my pocket. Seems I do a lot of pocket dialing. Friends are getting pissed.

This sounds more like a softare issue (as it WAS working but now it isn't) - what programmes are you running?

Mine came with a leather case w/belt clip. I don't use it; I prefer my Tuf-as-Nuts case (though it won't fit the keyboard, which I don't use either). The Nutshell case is the only one I've found with a belt LOOP, which is the only way to ensure the darn thing doesn't fall off your belt.

I wear mine on my belt. I use the Seido holster: http://www.seidioonline.com/ProductD...ctCode=HLIP63B
I have also tried a number of others. Even just ordered a new one today. This will be my second one from javoedge. I like the skin case but every once in a while When I get into my car the clip post would come out of the plastic. I just ordered their new hard plastic case. None the less I love the Seidio one.

I too am on my second 6315. Problems with the first included having to soft reboot more than once a day, poor bluetooth compatibility, missing phone calls, etc. T-Mobile replaced and the new one has the same problems. Jabra says their bluetooth headset is not compatible (no kidding). Go wireless is also not compatible and I had to keep reinstalling the headset in order to use it for a single session. T-mobile says they are coming out with a service pack in February to fix problems. Anyone else heard this? All in all, I am very dissatisfied with the 6315

I have to say that I don't know how I got along w/out it, Im in the medical field, in navy, and taking college classes, so there are alot of great uses for this for me. I really like being able to use it for notes, nothing is worse than not having a pen and paper when you need it, I can also look things up on the web quickly. I must say this has been great for me. This is my first PDA/PPC so I'm sure there are better/faster things out there but I'm dowm w/ this for now.

Rob, That is the funny thing, I have nothing but the apps that came with it installed! I have been afraid to install anything else.

I have used a T-Mobile h6315 for 4 months but had it enough... Back to two devices. Gotta have a separete reliable cell phone! My new hx4700 is great but i cant say how it is superior to h6315 since they are in different leagues. Bottom line is i am happier.

As long as you dont push its limits h6315 is a great device. Jabra might be an exception but BT works great to. I used Belkin Headset and GPS with it. It worked nice. The biggest problem is lock-ups associated with the programs you install or system related stuff... It is a big unknown. Needs updates but nobody is willing to develope one in the near future. (TMO guys need to get trained first... they willl learn to code and will provide you an update in the near future ) Oh one more: YOU MISS CALLS WHEN USING GPRS... HELLLLLLLLOOOOOOOO... T-MOBILE? or should i say Catherine Zeta-Jones?
