Backup stopped working on h6315
Hello everyone. I am new to the site and I have owned a h6315 since September 2004. This is my third device and it's performance has been pretty good in most areas. Lately, i have not been able to perform a backup. I am getting these failures:


1. -Operation: Backup failed
-Backup file:\storage
-Card\Backup_2005-01-21.pbf

-Start Time: 1/21/05, 11.12.24 a.m.
-End Time: 1/21/05, 11.14.39 am

-Time elapse: 15 (s)
-Backup filesize: 0 KB
-Average Speed: 0 KB/second

-error: m_ImageFile.Open ()failed

A message appears directing contact with SpriteSoftware support site(www.spritesoftware.com).

I also ordered the Sprite Backup Premium addition and installed with the same results. I uninstalled the Premium. I also sent a message to SpriteSoftware explaining my problem but have not heard from them yet.

I am not the most savvy tech person so if anyone has any advice on how to restore my backup capabilites I will greatly appreciate it.

Before running a back-up can you try performing a soft reset first. Does it work now?

What other programs do you have running?
