Microsoft Activesync: calendar sync status is on the device

Active sync works, I can synchronize with a exchange server, my inbox synchronizes, but my calendar items won't synchronize?
I cannot select synchronize selection on my calenderitem in Async.

Go into settings in Activesync on your PC and untick the box "Sync with the exchange server"

Did you go to "options" on ActiveSync and make sure "Calendar" was checked? For some reason this periodically "unchecks" itself.
