Headset that works with MS Voice Command?
I have tried several voice aps onthe hp3615 and came back to MS Voice Command. Its stable, fast, smart and can access my Outlook contacts and numbers without voice tags. Just what I need.

HOWEVER I have not found a headset (mic) that will work with it in my car when its moving. I dont think its the A6 I need to change.

Any recommendations would be very welcome.

Thanks in advance,
Owen

Owen,

I've only had MS Voice Command for a few days but my Logitech Mobile Bluetooth Freedom Headset seems to work great with it so far.

Best,

TA

Thanks tabran, the spec does check out well especially the WindStop noise cancelling feature.

Does MSVC respond ok when you use the Logitec while driving?

Owen,

Again, I have only been using MSVC for a few days now so perhaps someone else can chime in here: My experience so far has been that my headset works well w/MSVC in the car, though not as well as it does it a quiet (indoor) environment.

Also, I noticed in the other MSVC thread that you installed the rom patch on your 6315. Has this made any difference with the sleep freezing problems you were experiencing?

Thanks,

TA

Yes the patch really beefed up BT. It now gets to 30ft range before disconnect and reonnects after walking back in range (no freezing). It has far cleaner, higher fidelity sound quality both in and out - and now gets 10ft to first to crackle and pop. I should mention I'm using a re-paired (it had its own transmitter for non BT use) Jabra BT200

I've been cautious with the auto sleep function as I mentioned in the post and just activated it today but with no freezing so far. As a way of avoiding the pre-patch freezups I had disabled timed sleep and reverted to manual sleep using the 'off' button.

Thanks for the comments on the logitec. I'm looking for reailer that will let me try it.
