I'm a previous owner of the Samsung i700, and recently purchased the 6315 (w/ipaq update). One issue that I find quite annoying on the 6315 is that when you press the power button while currently using the phone, the 6315 disconnects the call completely, instead of just turning off the display as the Samsung i700 did.

Does anybody know of any possible way of making the power button just turn off the display when pressed during a phone call? Are there any registry hacks that I can perform?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

hold down the power button until a menu appears u can turn just the screen off

Actually I was aware of this (but forgot to mention in first post). What I would like is ability to change the default function for just pressing the button, instead of holding it down, to turn off the screen.

I imagine a registry hack might make this possible but I haven't attempted...
