brought a new 6340
hi all
brought a 6340 from dixons for £250 after wanting a pda which had phone capabilities. apart from having no camera intergrated into it im really happy with it the build quality is just great and i feel a lot of thinking has gone into its design. i heard/read on the forums that the 6315 has not been well recieved due to massive problems. especially the americain t-mobile one, ironically the one i brought was unlocked and i put my company sim from my company phone which happens to be a t-mobile one and it worked off the bat. i dont have the problems which have been high lighted on the web site. its strange that the model that compaq/hp are bringing to supercede it is a retrograded model as by default it has a smaller screen and no intergrated wi-fi, although it does have a fixed thumb board. [bad idea] and a square screen [even badder idea]. so after using my ipaq for the last couple of days I think its an excellent piece of gear, having the most latest rom update out of the box, the only downside with this unit is i need to treat it with more respect as it is a very delicate instument, i cannot just toss it into my coat pocket without thinking
