Greetings everyone,
Just bought 6365 abt 3 weeks ago and new to the forum. Am not in US so the phone is not lock and no problem with the service provider. Everything works great and it did all the functions I needed for business and pleasure except - as being complained by everyone - the ringtone is too low.
Yes, I've gone through the threads on this issue and yes, I have increase a recorded BT ringer wave file by a couple of hundred %. It help, I can hear it in a not too noisy environment but I do want to use other sound/music for ringtones. Check with a couple of pda phone user and it seems this problem is not limited to hp 6365 only.
What I don't understand is when you play a sound file directly e.g. using media player, the sound is loud enough, the moment is it set to ringtone, and the phone program invoke the file as ringer, the sound volume drop like 50%
It seems to me that this is not a hardware problem but software i.e. the phone program in Windows Mobile itself (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm not a programmer, so, can any programmer out there hack this program. (Anyone from Microsoft? )
Cheers.
