hi,
i am havin a prob with my 6315,when i dial a call i cannot hear the person on the other side, the other person can hear me fine.i can hear my hp ringing and can hear music on it.its just the phone voice that has gone.on turning on the speaker mode or using a head set i can hear the voice of the person i am calling.any ideas what the problem is .thks

Hi, please check the volume setting, is it set to maximum?

hi,thks for the reply,
the speaker volume is set to maximum.i have tried a soft reset & a hard reset too, but the phone voice hasnt come back.

Looks like your hp front speaker is faulty, cause you can hear the hp ring or using speaker mode cause its from the rear speaker.

any idea where i could get the front speakers from,i live in DUBAI & have called hp twice but the parts are not available nor do they offer service for the ipaqs.do i have to send my ipaq for repair services or can i just order the part & fix it myself (as in is the installation easy).thks

hi, i am trying to purchase ipaq 6315 speakers as my front speakers have failed.(thats what the technician told me)i have tried various sites including ipaqrepair.co.uk but to no avail.where can i purchase the speaker .i live in UAE and hp offers absolutely no support in this region.thks

The semi-official parts store for iPAQs is Foxconn (http://www.services.foxconn.com), but they don't seem to show a speaker for the h6315. If you can obtain an official HP part number for them, they would probably have one of the few remaining stocks of parts.

hey did u solve ur problem with speaker
my hp ipaq6315 front speaker is not working i cant hear nay thing from front but its working with back speaker

i m new with this device i think i make some setting unknownly so my
phone's voice is shifted to back speaker


pls help
