Post Unofficial Upgrade Question
I applied the SET V software ( at link (http://www.lvlolvlo.net/PDA/ROMUpdate.htm) and the 6315 is running great. A lot less clutter, and I guess as posted elsewhere - less is more for reliability.

I have one question that the community might be able to help with.

The native HP OS (1.11.10 ENG) does not have the little battery-status icon at the bottom of the front page. Does anyone know of such a utility that I can install? I know tht the reason I upgraded to this release was to rid the system of the other utlities running on the system, but this was a handy one.

TIA for the help.

There's probably some free utilities you can buy, but here's the one that comes loade on some IPAQs (the hx4700 and the hx2000 series) that you might like:

Here's a free one that might work for you:

Is this link still available? I'm trying to get this rom update but it seems like the rom update page is longer available.
