Question Convert iPAQ backup file (pbf) to new Sprite Backup format

Hello Team,

My H6315 was stolen, along with my PC, so I can not restore via ActiveSync. However I have a .pbf file created by iPAQ backup on a memory card.
Someone please let me know a way to convert this useless pbf file to some kind of explorable file (newer Sprite Backup pbf, or SPB Backup or STG backup).
I think iPAQ backup allows to restore on different device of equivalent model so that in theory it is possible to convert using another H6315 device.
Which I don't have :(

I tried to use Sprite Explorer (from SpriteBackup v6.5) but they changed file format sometime in 3.x so that it can not open my pbf file (*)

In fact Sprite Explorer crashes when I try to open an older pbf file (**)

Sprite Software support did not want to hear anything about these crashes, because they say these files are not supported any more (***)

Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks!
-Alex

I've never read of any workaround to this limitation with old sprite backup files. Unfortunately, the only way you'll be able to read that file is if you get another h6315 and view it there. I've never read of any workaround to this limitation with old sprite backup files

Convert iPAQ backup file (old pbf)

OK, then I have a rather silly question. May be there is someone on this board with a working iPAQ H6315 who can help me?
Would take just loading my backup and export contacts.
