I wrote this in the Replies section on the main page of the review, but I'll post it here again.

Needless to say, I used the wired earbud that was included most of the time.
I did not know that the phone supported a wired earbud. Where does it connect to exactly?

See the pic where the stylus is holding open a flap on the side, that is where it connects.

Is that the same place that the headphones plug into?

Soft reset

Hi,
am new to this forum. I am very keen to get the
6315 when it is available, but am concerned over the
daily "soft reset" mentioned in the review. Have not had a
Pocket PC before so not sure what this means (?like reset
on a desktop?). If this is the case, this seems to me to be
a poor device to be used as a mobile phone. I don't need to
soft reset my mobile every day!!

Not that bad...

I've had mine since the day they came out and found that the software you install will probably play a part in how often you have to reset. I've only loaded about half a dozen programs onto my machine and I can't remember the last time I had to reset it. Maybe last weekend?

In your review you mention T-Mobile add on apps. I recently pucrchased the IPaq from T-Mobile, but it did not come with teh cool TODAY app that you show in your review. Where can I get it or download it?

thanks

Do you mean the one with the Call Log and Voice Mail short cuts?

Hold on let me turn mine on....

It is a Today plugin called "T-Mobile". There is also one calle d"T-Mobile My E-mail". Both should be there from the start :) Perhaps you just need to enable them in the Today applet.

I only have 4 Today options: Spiral/T-Mobile Default/T-MobileLite/Windows Default. None of which show what you had in your review. Mine was purchased in the Boston, MA, USA

Ooohhh...that is not a Today app, that is the "theme". You can find those all over the web, let me check the review again and see if I recognize it.

The top one is the Windows Default. The one that says Aximsite, well, you could either make or see if you could download it from the Axim site :)

Theme files are .tsk files usually found in your Windows directory, although I think they can be other places.

You can also use image files as a background.

It is a DELL Axim web site www.aximsite.com - it is not part of T-Mobile

Correct, but that does not mean you couldn't use a theme from them (if they make it available).

Here it is....not that I am going to put that on my hp, mind you :)

Download the file and move it to your Windows directory on your ipaq. Go to your Today themes and it should be one of your choices now.

Aximsite theme

I guess being a newbie does not help. I'm not referring to the theme or background. The screen shots you have seem to be some kind of applet that has a tabbed interface with teh following organzing tabs: Main/Apps/Games/NET/System - what kind of add on is that and where can I find it?
thx
