Clearly, the surprising information is that the high-end model will indeed sport built-in WiFi (FCC documents point to 802.11g). But, even more surprising is the inclusion of GPS in this unit (the FCC docs seemed to leave that out). Finally, the last bullet point indicates that HP is going with a miniSD expansion slot only on the hw6715 -- leaving SD cards weeping worldwide. With inexpensive 1 GB miniSD cards now available, this may not be such a bad thing afterall.

WOW! The 240 x 240 low-res screen has taken its share of hits as the uber-swanky MDA IV starts to surface with its landscape-by-design 640 x 480 capable VGA screen. Initial gasps of
"What! No WiFI?" were put to rest by the FCC documents posted on the hw6715 unit.
Of course, until HP actually supplies the specs, we're still perhaps like mushrooms -- in the dark and maybe being fed a little crap along the way.
