6510/5 Caller ID on incoming call ?
It mentions Caller ID in the pdf manual, but only in respect of outgoing calls.
Can someone confirm how it handles an incoming call please ?

Are the contacts stored in Outlook or does it have it's own phone contacts list (on the SIM) ?

If you have more than one number stored for someone,
does it show their name and "work" / "mobile" when they're calling ?

Does it support "personal rings", so you can give certain contacts their own ringtone ?

I installed Mini CallerID to support the above.

Contacts stored in outlook, SIM contacts can be transfered there by the SIM manager. When they call you get the name and a 'w' or 'h' for work or home. Doesn't appear to support personal rings outof the box, I'm gonna try find what the other guy mentioned.

Cheers for the info, good luck, I googled earlier without success... so far.

I did however find a photo caller id application that looks quite funky:
http://www.pocketx.net/products/photocontactspro_ppc/

The pro version mentions unique ring tones too. Woohoo!

It shows Caller ID on incoming call. (Haven’t seen a mobile that does not), it also shows the name of the caller if it is in your contacts(most of the time). You have to write the full phone number including country code for it to work(I think).

Further more it show a w for work m for mobile when some one calls you.

You can copy numbers from the sim-card to the phonebook and the will be synchronized with your outlook. When using caller id and contacts it only uses the outlook addresses(I think).

Don't know about personalized ring tones haven't run into it yet.
