Hi tanv28. It's a fairly new device. I don't think anyone's come out with a device specific powered mount for the 6500 yet - at least there isn't one on Seidio's web page yet.

Guys... looks like these mounts involve drilling a hole in your dash board.. correct me if I am wrong.. er is there any mounts which can be clipped to the aircon vent instead.. the ipaq is expensive but my car is more expensive so dont think it would be a wise idea to drill holes onto the dashboard even if it is a small one.. thanks dudes..

I have used the Proclip cradle for my I-Mate Jam and HX-4700, currently I am waiting for the one for the HW6515. It is a great system, you have to buy the mounting system of your choice and then the cradle. It requires no drilling what so ever, it clips into the space between your dash and the vent. It is a very tight fit and there is two sided tape which keeps the mounting clip in place, check out the installation instuctions on the website.

I have the hardwire charging one for my HX-4700, once in place in the cradle, it is solid. It can also be rotated 90 degrees if you what to use landscape mode.

It does not bounce around like the vent mounted cradles. I know this because I bought the Belkin vent mount kit for cell phones and adpated my Jam cradle to it. It worked quite well and the cradle could be removed from it like a cellphone. This method is nowhere near as solid as the Proclip mount.

I think it is an excellent product and would certainly recommend it if they made it for your vehicle.
