Hi everybody,

I bought the ipaq 6515 two days ago, I didn't discover any problems sofar.
But I do miss wifi very much :-(

Here 's a review of ipaq 6500/6515 series, overthere they succesfully
tried to use a minisd wifi card from spectec, type 822.

I was wondering if anybody knows a place in europe where I can buy
the spectec minisd wifi card (sdw822) for my ipaq 6515?

Expansys UK offers the Spectec SDIO WiFi card so I would feel they will offer the miniSD when it becomes available. I don't think its out yet, but check out a thread at DavesIpaq http://davesipaq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7967 they have a very active discussion about this card.

I've mailed Spectec and this is their reply:

Dear Mr.,

Thank you very much for your mail, informing your interest in our mini SDIO WLAN Card SDW-822. However, SDW-822 is just in mass production not ready to offer yet, to get it, I am afraid you have to wait until end Sep. Hope you don't mind to contact with us then. And, attached, it is the DM of mini SDIO WLAN Card.

i bought from www.ipaqchoice.com. this is HP official site. waiting for shipping.
I'm not sure about the brand but if this site is official , i think i will not have problem with it in the future....
