hw6515 e-mail problem
Hi all!

All my settings for sending & receiving e-mail on the hw6515 is correct according to me, but each time I try to send an e-mail message, it is returned with "Message recipient invalid". The incoming mail works fine though. Wich account/connection combination should I use or any other suggestions?

Thanx

I had this same problem with my 4700, I contacted support but they could not help me. I have seen reference to an unsolved bug in microsoft messaging on various forums. I installed Webis mail as a demo to test it and it worked fine. I have never solved the problem so I bought Webis mail.

Matter resolved! The GPRS carrier required me to use their own outgoing mail server, but the incoming mail server remain a POP3. Easy-peasy...

lomdel

you may recall that you resolved the problem caused by selfish carriers requiring the use of their outgoing mail servers. Could you please advise me in laymen terms what I need to do to resolve what I think is the same problem ?

hope so as otherwise I can only receive email

many thanks

Steven
