I have a HP iPaq hw 6515, and the Windows XP SP2 did not recognize the device. I have try using them in another PC and problem persists. I try Active Sync 3.7.1, and the 3.8, none of them solve the problem.
I have format PC and reintall all updates availeble. No firewall, antivirus is disable, and is not recognized..
I do a soft reset, and hard reset and they still did not recognized..
But in IRDA they are recognized and works great..

Anyone with same problem??

I have tryed 3 diferent usb ports and no one works for me. In another pc is the same problem.
I bought this in this weekend, and dont work for me.
In online chat suport of HP, they said that perhaps is hardware issue...

No one with same problem??

Hi Freeware-User,

Have you been able to sync before, and now it has stopped working? Or have you never been able to sync? If it doesn't work on two computers then it's really unlikely to be a problem with the computers. I would suspect the cable as the culprit. Have you tried another one?

If it's not the cable and it's not the computer...you'll likely need to send the unit in for warranty replacement/repair.

Something else to try is have a friend try to set it up. Sometimes when I'm totally stumped, I get to the point where I'm just doing stupid stuff that's not really productive. A new set of eyes can often spot something you overlooked.

Also go through the basics.
