As already mentioned works the GPS fine when your outside or close to a window. But, this can always be better ( loss of signal from time to time in the car). I have seen that at the back ( on top,in the middle) there is a small connector hidden behind a rubber cover. this seems to be for a gps antenna?
Anybody who knows about this? (thought i've read something about this)

Found the little connector at the back. Can't figure out what it is for though. Could well be for external GPS receiver.

Hi, I had the same problem I bought a resender to cure it Cost around GBP 25.00 you place a small magmount antenna on the outside of your car this has a power connection and an antenna for inside the car. please the inside antenna as near as you can to the GPS receiver. I have TomTom5 with a IPaq 2210 and a CF receiver ( forgotten the make its in the car something like a retak 6500) in the cities I used to have problems getting a fix now it take around 1 min even in the cities.
