Message Notification

Can someone advise me how to get a good message notification instead of the beep that appears to be the default? I would like to use a .wav file.

Just copy the.wav file to windows directory. Then go Settings -> Sounds & Notifications -> Notifications, choose "Messaging:New SMS" from the events list and point the wav you want from the list below. Be sure "Play sound" mark is checked.

Appreciate your advise on how I could get the sound notification to carry on playing until I acknowledge the message.
