Pushing email (like blackberry)

Hey all.

So, I've got a 6515b sitting here and a data plan. The only thing it'll do is send a text to say to check my mail. I want it to push my mail to me. Exchange will do it if I'm running Mobile 5 and we all know that's not happening thanks to HP (stuck with 2003). So, there is a program called SEVEN that works out of Europe that does EXACTLY what I want. However they won't sell to someone in North America due to agreements with US cell companies. I'm in Canada so we get screwed because I can't even use the US cell company to do what I want.

So, how do I get my email pushed to me? Right now I have to remember to hit the send and receive, but I don't want to have to remember. I want it to tell me when there is something. ie something that will do the send and receive for me. Suggested products? Or anyone in Europe want to register SEVEN for me?

first of all, get rid of that pos 6500 series thing. probably one of the worst phone devices ever.

ok, just needed to get that off my chest.

now then, for push email check out emoze, a free client/server software for "pushing" email. there are other ways to do it, but i believe this is the easiest

emoze.com

I appreciate your interest in SEVEN. Your welcome to apply to our beta program at SEVEN | PRODUCTS.

Best regards,

Ari, I thought SEVEN was only available for Europe, not in Canada? I'll have a look at beta but I need something that will work in Canada.

JD, it's not mine to get rid of. I'm the email admin and they want their email pushed. They were mis-informed by HP prior to purchasing it that it'll accept pushed email from Exchange. If it was Mobile 5 I can do it, but it's not so I can't. They are very unimpressed with HP. They bought it directly after being misinformed. I'll try that emoze.com link and see what happens. Thanks.
