help! my ipaq is going crazy....

Hi,

I had my ipaq 6515 with me for more than a year now. Everything worked fine until 2 days ago.

When I pressed the power button, it rebooted and everything was initialized. Luckily I had a backup in my SD card so everything was restored.

The same thing happened again this morning?

What do you think caused this? I always charge my ipaq when Im in the office (using usb) and when Im at home (using the outlet).

thanks

Roel

I read of others with this model having the same experience. It seems the battery door may be the problem. Over time it gets loose and the battery connections becomes a problem. I've read where people have inserted a thin piece of paper in the pocket pc and this fixes the problem.

its the connection with your battery.
I have about 40 of these ipaqs in my company, with all the same problem.
Just reconnect your battery.(and backup regurarely).

you have the problem after the rom update. hhmmm..
Try this. Disconnect the battery, clean the connectors, put back the battery
and start the pda. (remember to keep your ipaq at power, or you will loose everything!!!). When that doesnt work.......
did you try to make a backup and a hard - reset??

ik hoor het wel.
