Hi ppl,

is there ne1 who knows another way to soft -reset this ipaq.
I know the proper way, with the pen etc. but is there another
way to do this??

Yes, I know the problem...in some situations it is difficult to soft reset with stylus. I have psShutXP (freeware) installed on my device. I have programmed a hardware button to launch this utiliy. From psShutXP you can perform a soft reset with a tap on the screen.
