I have sent files via IR with my 3970 to my 3850 no problems but cannot get my two 6945's to send or receive to each other or my old ones. I have the box ticked that says"receive all beams" I believe the ir port is on the left side near the shift/lock button. Anyone else try theirs? The bluetooth sends files just fine.

I had installed a piece of software on my Axim 51v that I
thought was having an effect on my IR as after installation
I could not tranfer files/pics to my sons Asus ppc.
I checked it out by beaming a file while aiming my 51v at
my webcam because I found out a long time ago while repairing
a tv remote that the webcam saw IR as a bright signal where
of course the human eye does not,to make a short story long
it was the software,uninstalled it and the webcam again saw IR signal.

You were absolutely right! I suspected the updated driver for the old G750 keyboard. Removed it and ir is working again!
