Is there a free alternative, Outlook has been proven to be unreliable for the past few months...

Maybe some online action with Google Calendar and GMail. I don't think there are any freeware substitutes that use Outlook data.

Basically, I need something that will allow me to setup a POP3 and IMAP4 account, which I can retrieve e-mails on the fly...
