not entirely correct :o
after hr there are some apps, settings (like XML) and other files that are "poured" into the device
some can be deleted using the device file explorer (like tomtom files from program file & my doc)
some are protected or "being used" and can only be deleted using resco explorer or total commander… like when you replace dialer skin or the pictures of icons
last you have the rom file that are not accessible unless you cook your rom differently like the tomtom EXE in win dir or power-point EXE in win dir, this files can be identified when trying to delete them with file explorer and the option of delete is gray
as for deleting
I'm from Israel and we don’t have mapping 4 tomtom so after HR one of the things I delete is this app from prog file and my doc and it gives me more memory to use 4 more useful apps
If you understand/know the process I'm taking about you will understand that it will give you more memory 4 the user
on most htc devices and on some of hp/htc you can see the pack being installed after the hr and users are performing SR during this insulation to stop it and by doing so saving useful user memory
on the 6900 you cannot see this so you must manually delete ,sorry It is long….
But my recommendation is that If you are not expert or have the knowledge at the matter don't delete thing you don’t know, it may case you instability or malfunction in the future that will lead to unwanted HR
If you do want to learn then backup your device before deleting anything
"Safe" is using file explorer ,advanced use resco explorer and the top is cooking your rom (cooking cannot be done 4 the ipaq 6900)
