How can I get the screen rotated Free?

Are there any free apps out there to rotate the screen on the 6945? I searched but showed up over 300 results and not specific to this phone.. any ideas? I need the screen to rotate so I can watch videos while on the bike in the gym since the headphones are on the bottom it makes the screen crooked

Thanks in advance!

If you have wm2003se or newer, screen rotating is built into the os. Its under Start, Settings.

If you want to rotate the screen just to watch a video, TCPMP, a great media player by the way, has the ability to rotate the screen around to any side you need it on just for playing media files. It doesnt affect the os.

Screen rotation is not an option for the IPAQ hw6900 series pocket pcs. TCPMP's screen orientation option does nothing on the IPAQ hw6900.

Like you, I have searched around for a free way to rotate the screen on this device and have never found a free solution. I don't really need to rotate the screen on the device, so I've stopped there. If it's that important to you, you could try some of the commercial software like Nyditot

You could also think about getting a bluetooth enabled headset for the device.

No reason to feel like an idiot...it is not a standard setup. The hw6900 series IPAQs have a square 240x240 screen. I guess this capability was removed since someone (?) didn't see the benefit of rotating a square screen....
