I am a cingular customer.. and lately when I am on a call for about 15-30 minutes all of a sudden I hear static not exactly static I guess just noise and I never noticed it on other phones, and I even get it when im on my BlueTooth, I do not notice this on my moms phone (cingular as well) and I noticed it happens when I talk to anyone for an extended amount of time. Before I discuss this with cingular, perhaps there is some setting I need to change on my phone? I dont know how to explain it to cingular either.. I will see

P.S. the people on the other end almost never hear it

no, I dont use aluminum anywhere near it, In fact sometimes it happens when its not in a case at all.. still curious on this. It gets annoying having the person call me right back but when they do the static is gone

The same way you explain the issue to us, I believe the vendor of your phone contract would understand. Why don't you give them a call?
