Free up Memory

how can I get some of these files off my Ipaq that I dont nee,d like I will never use MSN messenger, or this telenav, or getgood however the browser wont let me erase these files

Applications that come in the device installed there from the factory are installed in ROM and cannot be removed. Since they are installed in ROM, even if you could remove them, you would not gain anything by that - ROM storage is not accessible to you.

If you don't like seeing the applications in the programs screen, you could delete the shortcuts for them (you'll find those in the \windows\startmenu\programs folder).

Do you surf the internet a lot?
Then there are probably temp internet files on your pda. You can clear them in the options window in PIE.

I like to use SKTools, which is similar to CCleaner on a desktop. Basically a program that cleans out all unneeded files in the system. You can find similar programs for free or do it yourself if you know where these files are stored.

u can use a freeware called WIMR (google 4 it) with this app u can find what and where is your lost memory (like pictures on device,recording notes,temperature files..) then move/delete using file explorer or 3part app like sk-tools

u can also surch 4 post i have written in the past about " hr instlletion"
