HW6945 Stability

Hi All,

I just got a HW6945 on tmobile. I installed Vito Mobile2Go, Skype and a program that allows me to write in arabic (I think by a company called imaginet). The problem is that the phone is sometimes unstable, it won't connect to the internet sometimes, I won't be able to get to the phone mode. It will freeze and I'll have to soft reset it... I've had the thing for over 48 hours and I've hard reset it twice and have soft reset it countless times. I want to put more programs on the phone, but I'm worried that with what little I have on there now, the stability is really questionable. Any thoughts?

Have you installed the same apps on your previous phone or another similar phone? If so, which phone and how well did they perform? I know it can be a pain, but often the best thing to do is try the phone with the factory settings to see if it's messing up that way before adding apps, then add them one at a time over several days.
48 hours isn't a real test IMHO. I'm the same as you in that I dump all my favorite apps on teh phone as soon as I have it, but if I were having these issues I'd step back a bit to try & determine what the actual problem is. Heck, maybe Skype has an issue with this processor - who knows?
