ipaq 6945 - costs associated with GPS

Hello,

Still carrying a functional ipaq 6315 (I know - but it's worked for me) and looking at the 6945 for several reasons.
1. Using TMobile - 3G not an issue right now.
2. WiFi - See #1 - office, home, etc. let me have that data access without paying a monthly fee.
3. GPS - used in a couple of rental cars - as a "directionally challenged" person this seems useful.

My question is, what are the costs associated with GPS? I am trying to avoid the monthly cellular data plan but not clear if GPS requires that.

Thanks in advance!

The only cost is the cost of the GPS software. GPS does not use your monthly cellular data plan.

Cheers

Only costs are:
GPS Hardware, GPS software, and a mount for the car.
No monthly fees :)
Check out my PDA for the stuff I use :) :)

I'm curious how you're using standard SD cards on your 6945? Everything I've found is that they only read up to 512 mb and the only format that fits in the slot is mini-SD.

Edited 2/18: Nevermind. I've found 2 gb mini-SD cards work just fine in my 6945.
