Permanently remove Bluetooth hardware?
I work in a facility that does not allow wireless comm. devices - is there a card or hardware in the Ipaq HX2xxxx series that can be pulled or unplugged to prevent this function? I have to know this before I can order it....and I am assuming that the BTooth hardward is not mounted on the motherboard.

Thanks in advance..

deftodet. Welcome to the site. I don't think that there is any end user servicible way to remove the BT/WiFi antennas or "cards". You might be able to send it out somewhere after you got it and have it done. But why not just get a device without BT/WiFi?

deftodet,

welcome to this superb website and forum.

I totally agree with swhoutx035 on his approach of getting a device without any wireless comm features. Although it seems uncommon.

Hope this helps.
