IPAQ 2210 / Storage card problem
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I recently purchased a 1GB storage card which has been recognised by my IPAQ 2210 and allowed me to format etc.It then shows as having 923MB available space.
The problem I have is that it does not offer the opportunity to transfer attachments or any other files to it.
When I use the synchronise option, it does not see the availabale space and the maximum data I can transfer is around 100KB.
Do I need to update the ROM on the IPAQ?
Does anyone know of a resolution please?

This is usually caused by Activesync trying (often unsuccessfully) to 'convert' the file.

If you get yourself a USB2 card reader you should have no problems.

I have a 1G SD card that lives in my iPaq. I use a card reader almost always. The speed difference is amazing. One time I forgot to take my reader to work. Active sync died while trying to transfer large files (>100Mb). It appeared that it would consistently crash during the transfer around 120Mb. Only happened that one day (haven't forgot my reader since then).

The USB readers are well worth the small prices they are asking for them.
