HX2750 opens by itself!
Hi,
I am the happy owner of a iPAQ HX2750. Wonderful device! I configured a POP3 email account, and everything works nicely, except for one thing: If the iPAQ is not on his cradle, it opens by itself and it tries to connect on my home network. I close it, and a few seconds/minutes later, it wakes again! I closed the Wi-fi feature, and it says that it is unable to connect on a network and suggest to configure a network connection!

It seems related to my POP3 account, since without it, I do not have this problem.

Am I the only one to experience this phenomenon?

Thanks,
Pierre

Under Inbox, tools, options. Make sure that you un-check the setting to check for mail every so many minutes. Also check your ActiveSync tools, options, mobile schedule and make sure that it’s set to manually.

I think that should cover it unless you have a today screen plug-in that checks for update like Journal bar or weather today.
