problems charging my new 2110
Hi guys,
I've had my hx2110 for about 10 days now, and I'm really pleased with it.
Only one problem, on three seperate occassions when I've charged the battery fully, I cannot switch it back on!. I have to do a soft reset, and then everything comes on fine. This doesn't happen every time.
I have a 512mb sandisk sd card in the machine, could this cause problems?
Any help or advice would be great
thanks

This is probably a software issue - what do you have loaded?

All that is in the machine is the preloaded windows mobile 2003 latest edition, The only other things are 4 wmv files stored on an sd card, that is permanently left in the ipaq. Could it be the sd card?
Many thanks

i had the same problem.... but its gone now.... i dont know how i managed to do that but marky it aint a bad idea to soft reset ur PPC once in a while.... clears ur memory n frees up some much wanted space.... so dont fret.... ill come out with a solution pronto n let u know..
btw i contacted HP and they said that there is something wrong with ActiveSync 3.8 n asked me to install the previous version i.e., 3.7.1 on my desktop... but that only solves the problem when ur charging ur PPC with ur USB cord... i also used to face the same problem when charging on the AC line too...
gimme sometime n ill be able to help u out
till then happy soft resets.... they arnt as bad as they sound...trust me

Have you got the latest firmware update from HPs website, it's only a couple of weeks old and apparently fixes numerous issues.
