HP2750 and bluetooth driver memory error???
I just bought a new HP2750 and love it however I get the message-“The Bluetooth Radio failed to turn ON due to insufficient driver memory available. You must perform a normal reset before you can turn ON the Bluetooth Radio.” Doing a soft reset does not correct the problem. The only way that I can turn on the Bluetooth radio is to remove Battery Pack Pro and Journal Bar from the Today screen. After that I reset and everything works fine. I also must mention that I am using the built in biometric print reader for security. I contacted OmegaOne a few days ago but they must be to busy for my problem. Anyone else had this problem?? On my unit I have installed PI 5.6, BPPro 1.1.1, JBar, eWallet 4.0.1.1111, SOTI Pocket Controller, Creativity Corp. Pocket PC Creations 3.3.1.0, PIE Print 1.14, Calligrapher 7.4, Resco File Explorer 5.12, Acrobat Reader 2.0, PhatPad 2.1, and Cirond pocket WiNc 2.0. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I use BT a lot to print inspection reports in my truck.

Hello Spark-arrester. You just discovered the pain of some Today Screen Plugins. I like Omega One products, but quit using them myself when I got the 4700. They just don't play well with other apps and BT. EDIT: I think it might have more to do with a compatibility issue with WM2003SE, since I never had problems with Omega One Products until I got the 4700.

Had to uninstall PocketWeather
I had similar probs too with the bluetooth driver, and have been resetting the pda every time before using bluetooth. I just found out that by uninstalling PocketWeather (nice program btw), the problem seems to be solved.

Too be more exact, I had to build the sw configuration from scratch, without installing PocketWeather.

Pitty, I liked that sw too.

I have to revoke above message. The problem is occurring again, and without PocketWeather installed.

I've noticed that if I don't turn off all my BT hardware and software in the right order, I get this error message too. I don't think it necessarily has anything to wo with any other installed programs. For example, if I don't first turn off Destinator, then turn off the BT GPS receiver before turning of the GPS, I get the error message the next time I start up BT. Especially if I just turn off the device without closing any of the above down first. It is an annoyance, but nothing major (to me anyway).

I tried that too. It seemed to work for a couple of days, and then I would get the infamous BT error without the Protect tool too.

Please let us know if this happens to you also.
