When I tap on a menu item (doesn't matter what program), either by holding or tapping, the pop up menu comes up but it is squished and I can't read the menu.
The links still work but you can't read anything.
Is this a settings issue or is something wrong?
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

That is an odd problem I have never heard of before. Have you installed any new software lately? Try a soft reset and see if this clears up the issue. If not, consider backing up your system and hard resetting.
Maybe somebody else has experienced this before....
