SD Card Notification Error
On my 2215, when I turn it on I get "Notification Error..Cannot execute \sd card\kaisoft pocket pc tools allinclusive\cestartscreen.bv". I bought the 2215 on eBay, and it did not include an SD card. I have added an SD 256mb card, however. How can I get rid of that pesky error message on startup??

HINT: ask arouund to try an SD card of someone else because it might be related to your SD card ?

Thanks for the reply. I was getting this notification message before I added the new SD card, so I don't think it is related to my card. It must have something to do with the card the previous owner used, but now I can't get rid of that message.

It is not related to the SD (or CF) card, but a program that was installed on the card. A new SD card will NOT remove this message. This message is due to a program reference still on the list of “scheduled tasks” and it refers to the SD card. The best way (easiest way) to access your list of scheduled tasks is (IMHO) using the PHM pocket PC PowerToys (http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/PowerToys/) which is a collection of small utilities. Just install all of them.

The one you want to use is the “PHM Scheduled Tasks PowerToy”. This can be found after the installation on the "System" tab of the "Settings" screen. Find the application with the reference to the SD card, and delete the reference. A full backup prior to applying this trick is probably a wise move .
