2750 ROM Upadate
Hello All,

Since my last tread about 2750 problems. I passed it on to HP in my country. When i met with them last week. They had a new ROM Beta which they were trying.

After looking at the problems ppl were putting in the tread that i posted. They menetioned that the problems should be solved. And the final version should be released in the middle of March. So i can say there will be a ROM UPDATE VERY SOON.

Any questions contact me...

DG,

I am a PPC newbie (owned PSIONs before) therefore the following question.

Is it easy to perform a ROM upgrade ? How ? Is it described somewhere ?

More important ... if something goes wrong or the new version doesn't satisfie....is it possible to downgrade ? Iow can you first make a ROM backup or what ?

Sorry for the many questions.

Re: 2750 Rom Update
HI

HP called me yesterday and asked me to come in. I went there today and i spoke to the Lead person for IPAQ's. He showed me the Beta version and 1 thing i do know which has been fixed is the CF modem. I showed him all the replies i got from ppl on the site. In addition i showed him some of the problems 1st hand..

I see alot of you are writting HP emails and not getting replies. If i can help please let me know. Before you PM me please write you problem in the tread : 2750 PROBLEMS UPDATE.

gdave,

I am thinking of moving on from my 4150 and getting an 2750. Just curious, is that proposed ROM update have any fixes for the apparent BT stack memory error that many people seem to be getting?

TIA!
