Buy a 2750???
I am thinking of selling my Axim X30 and buying an Ipaq 2750. What is the difference, if any, between the 2750 and the 2755? Are Ipaqs worth the extra price over other PPCs? Does anyone have the extended battery for the 2750? Does it stick out from the back panel? Do you need the extended battery to get through a day of using your PPC? Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

I have no experience with the Axim, but I do have the 2750. As far as I know there is hardly any difference between the 2750 and the 2755 (maybe some difference in software). HP uses the different codes for their different distribution channels.

There are pictures of the extended battery on the WWW and it seems thicker than the original. It probably does stick out, as do other extended batteries I saw. I don't need the extra power though, the original battery lasts between 7 to 9 hours. I don't run video's or mp3s, but I do use Bluetooth regularly. ymmv ofcourse.

Anyways, I like the 2750 a lot, and at this point of time, I would buy it again without any hesitation. The screen is wonderful, it is fast and there is plenty of memory. Also, the fingerprint scan works very well.

Ofcourse, it does have some quirks, but then again, it is just a computer. With a ROM patch on the way, we'll probably enjoy it for some years to come.

Happy hunting,
