Hi all. Well, I couldn't hold out any longer. I have now finally retired my 4155 (well not really, I will probably give it to my GF), and went full steam ahead and picked up a powerful 2750.
The form factor was a major decision as it is real close to being the size of my 4150 when in a Sena case. Since the 2750 has a flip cover (a nice one to boot), I don't think I will use a case for it (at least not for now).
All I have to say is damn this thing is fast!
One thing I have noticed...it seems that the fingerprint security software can only be accessed fresh after a hard reset. It seems though once I have finished loading it up with software, that the shortcut, control panel icon, and even .exe for the security fails to launch. Only after a hard reset can I actually launch the app. Last nite I made a full backup, did a hard reset, turned on security, then re-applied my backup and it was ok. I then turned off security and now I am no longer able to access the app.
EDIT: I seem to have corrected this issue. Apparently some software conflict was causing it. I removed cLaunch and am now using PocketPlus as my today launcher. Now, I am able to click and launch the security app.
I did get the BT memory error but it was corrected right after I did a soft reset. Not a real big issue but I hope HP corrects this in the next update.
Overall a real nice device and a worth (so far) successor to my 4155. So what that it doesn't have VGA - it's fast, compact, and probably one of the nicer looking of the latest batch of PPC's coming from HP.
I just ordered a couple of Pen/Stylus from PPCTechs that will fit into the 2750's silo. Always a nice option to have.
